How to Build an Outdoor Cooler Table Top

An outdoor cooler table is a great way to keep your drinks and snacks cold while you're enjoying the outdoors. It's also a great way to add some extra seating to your patio or deck. Building your own cooler table is a relatively easy project that can be completed in a few hours.

Here are the steps on how to build an outdoor cooler table top:

Gather your materials. You will need the following materials to build your cooler table top:

1 sheet of 3/4-inch plywood
1 sheet of 1/4-inch plywood
1 cooler
1 can of spray adhesive
1 tube of clear silicone caulk
1 box of 1-inch wood screws
1 drill
1 saw
1 sander

Cut the plywood. Cut the 3/4-inch plywood to the desired size of your table top. The 1/4-inch plywood will be used to create the cooler insert.
Assemble the cooler insert. Spray the edges of the 1/4-inch plywood with spray adhesive and attach it to the bottom of the cooler. This will create the cooler insert.
Attach the cooler insert to the table top. Place the cooler insert on top of the 3/4-inch plywood and secure it with wood screws. Be sure to countersink the screws so that they are flush with the surface of the table top.
Seal the edges of the table top. Apply a bead of clear silicone caulk around the edges of the table top to seal it. This will prevent moisture from getting into the table top and damaging it.
Sand and finish the table top. Sand the table top until it is smooth. You can then apply a stain or paint to the table top to match your outdoor décor.
