Choosing the Right Spot

When growing Phalaenopsis orchids outdoors, it's crucial to select an appropriate location. They prefer bright, indirect light, so avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, which can scorch their leaves. Protect them from strong winds, as they can break or damage the delicate stems.

Potting and Soil

Phalaenopsis orchids thrive in a well-draining, airy potting mix. Use a mixture specifically designed for orchids, which typically contains a combination of bark, perlite, and charcoal. Plant the orchids in pots with drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.

Watering and Fertilizing
